Our church has a long history in Erie beginning in 1888. Bethel is Hebrew for “God’s House.” We love the idea, not because we like our building, but because the Bible says that people are stones that God fits together to make His dwelling place (Ephesians 2:19-21).
Bethel is a church made up of people from all walks of life, but who share a common goal: make and become fully devoted disciples. You’re a part of that goal. At Bethel becoming fully devoted disciples involves intentional individual and corporate worship, useful community, continual growth, loving service, and purposeful outreach. We feel confident that if you will engage with those purposes with us, you will find Bethel to be a place where you will grow and be challenged to follow Jesus more and better! Our prayer is always that you would leave through our doors different than when you came in.
